Had the best time at the guest house. The hosts are extremely generous, friendly and accommodating. All the food served is home made and extremely tasty. Close access to a lot of tourist attractions in the area. Highly recommend it!

A very beautiful location! Wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming people that you can't help but like from the first moment. Maria is special! The food is good, products from her own household. We felt as if we were visiting close relatives.

I had room 5 in the attic, which I considered a bit small, with a tiny bathroom. That's why I gave only 4 stars for the rooms. Otherwise, hot water, food, location - score 10. If you get to the area, try Maria's donuts. I still think about them.😋
It was the first time I visited Maramures and we will definitely come back. Very welcoming hosts, even though we arrived late in the evening, they waited for us and invited us to the table. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the organic products from the own household.

I visited Maramures 50 years ago! Then fate took us to Australia. But every time we returned to the country, we proposed to revisit it, to see the transformations of this wonderful corner of the country, but the circumstances prevented us every time. Finally, this year we saw our dream with our eyes and what we saw exceeded all our expectations. And last but not least, the exceptional accommodation at Pensiunea Maria Boroica. We have no words to praise the wonderful natural setting, the comfort, the food, the service, the freshness and refinement, but above all the generosity and warmth of the hosts. If on the outside Maramures no longer looks as it had in our memory, the hospitality and generosity of the people of Maramures have remained unchanged and we will remain with this memory for as many days as God will give us!
An excellent guesthouse from all points of view. Hosts more than welcoming (best wishes and lots of work), food and "chosen liquors" saturated and with a fantastic taste. A location with a dream view close to all the points of interest of the beautiful MARAMURES.
